Disappeared in America

Originally conceived by Naeem Mohaiemen and Ibrahim Quraishi with the Visible Collective, Disappeared in America is a walk through installation on the disappearance and detainment of thousands of Muslim Americans during the post 9/ 11 realm. This piece was initially presented as part of the group show  Fatal Love at the Queens Museum New York in 2005 and subsequently developed in all different facets of presentations: Lecture performances, films, videos and photographs. The installation includes an extensive time-line documentation of factual events related to innocent people caught in a web of fear.
